Research On Color Psychology


What is Color Psychology?

The psychology of colour is based on the mental and emotional effects colours have on sighted people in all facets of life. There are some very subjective pieces to colour psychology as well as some more accepted and proven elements. Keep in mind, that there will also be variations in interpretation, meaning, and perception between different cultures.
White light is a combination of all the colours of the spectrum, divided into three basic groups: red, blue and yellow. From these three colours, you can combine every colour imaginable to the human eye. To be able to create aesthetically pleasing colour combinations, you have to know how the colour wheel first. I’ll try explaining it to you without being too technical.
